                 END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR DISLIN

This end-user license agreement (EULA) is a legal agreement between you
and the author of the data plotting software DISLIN. DISLIN is developed
by Helmut Michels of the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research
in Katlenburg-Lindau, Germany. If you not wish to be bound by the terms
of this EULA, please delete the software product from your computer. If
you keep DISLIN on your computer, you are agreeing to the terms of this
EULA.

Overview

DISLIN is a high-level plotting library for displaying data as curves,
polar plots, bar graphs, pie charts, 3-D colour plots, surfaces, contours
and maps. The routines in the library can be called from the programming
languages Fortran and C, and from the interpreting languages Perl, Python
and Java.

Grant of Free Usage

a) You are allowed to use DISLIN for free as a private person or as a
member of an institute that does not earn money with selling any
   products and services.

b) Free usage of DISLIN for testing it for a period of one month.

Commercial License Types

If you want to use DISLIN in a commercial environment, you have to order
a DISLIN license. Three types of licenses are available:

a) A PC License

You may install DISLIN and develop programs with the software on a single
PC. Multiple DISLIN distributions for different compilers can be
installed on that PC. The Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and MAC OSX distributions
of DISLIN are classified as PC distributions.

b) A Workstation License

You may install and use DISLIN on a single UNIX or VMS workstation. The
number of DISLIN users on that workstation is unlimited. The DISLIN
distributions for Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, HP-UX, Tru64 and OpenVMS need
   a Workstation License.

c) A Campus License

A Campus license allows you to install DISLIN on all computers in a
building, or in several buildings in a closed area.

Granted Rights

a) A commercial DISLIN license contains a CDROM with the current DISLIN
   software, documentation and source code.

b) A DISLIN license is unlimited and contains free binary upgrades that
can be downloaded from the site www.dislin.de. Upgrades of the source
code of DISLIN are not included.

c) Programs linked with DISLIN can be distributed and executed on other
   machines without any royalties.

Source Code

The source code of DISLIN is only available with one of the commercial
licenses above. It's included in the CDROM that is distributed with a
DISLIN license. The source code may be used for bug fixes and recompiling
DISLIN. You are not allowed to distribute the DISLIN source code, or to
make it public.

Limitations of Warranty and Liability

The software is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. The author
of DISLIN is not liable for any lost or damaged data or other commercial
or economic loss. The maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the
amount paid by you for the product.
