This package implements three non-intrinsic versions of the Fortran 2008 IEEE modules: IEEE_FEATURES, IEEE_EXCEPTIONS, and IEEE_ARITHMETIC. The module procedures call C codes that use in-line assembler for instructions that must maintain the flags, status, and computation of the remainder function, IEEE_REM.

To use this package, the linker flags must include "-lieeemods" to link to the underlying C and assembler code. Additionally, any "USE" statements must not include the "INTRINSIC" modifier.
